I recently read about Now Pages, and I fell in love with the idea of them! You can do a quick search online and find out about them, but basically they’re just an updated page of what you’re working on, thinking about, and loving right now. - I just finished a couple of big projects! One of those is a narrative storytelling game called The Devil’s Dandy Dogs, where you play as dogs made from the Devil’s shadow and run around making soul bargains. The other is my newest novel, Indelible Gods, which is all about magic and grief and family and the power of owning your own story.
- I’m trying to get an agent for the first time ever! This is a whole new experience for me, and I’m loving the process of learning something new. (If the process interests you, I’m writing about it over on my Patreon).
- I’m about to jump back into my next novel, The Music of Spiders, which is about a psychopomp who’s tasked with ferrying a living child through the underworld (think: Fury Road meets Hades meets Umbrella Academy).
- The deer, bunnies, and coyotes continue to enjoy our backyard wild space. The deer especially, as he is now full of ripe strawberries.
- I’m building my first miniature dollhouse! It’s for my character in our Invisible Sun game, who lives in a dollhouse, and I’m trying to replicate it in the real world.
- Amp continues to bring light and joy, although she’s getting older, and at least some of that light is coming from all the silver around her muzzle. <3
